This need led to the establishment of Kingdom Asphalt in 2002.

Kingdom Asphalt Plant Wibau WK M 160, 160 Tons per hour as a minimum and caters a number of small, medium, large and turnkey projects throughout the islands.

Kingdom Asphalt offers traditional and advanced asphalt technologies, incorporating international systems and materials and complies with British and Bahrain Standards of Works & Housing Ministries. 

Additionally to the production and supply of asphalt, Kingdom Asphalt is a "B" Grade Civil Contracting company and are capable to undertake, execute and complete civil contracts (mainly asphalt laying and civil works) up to value of BD. 20,000,000 per year. Highly experience staff are on hand for every project and include: senior engineers, quantity surveyors, site engineers, general foremen, safety officer, skilled and semi-skilled workers.

With a well maintained laboratory and equipment, all production and road surfacing equipment is vigorously programmed and calibrated as per the maintenance schedules to ensure maximum efficiency, reliability and product quality. Core samples simultaneously from the projects and production plant are regularly sent to public and independent laboratories to test and certify the content parameters to ensure the quality of the product for its intend usage within the permitted variations. All asphalt mixes are strictly quality controlled and approved periodically by the concerned ministries.

Kingdom Asphalt has a well documented, implemented and maintained Quality Management System which is periodically audited for the their entire core and supportive operations and procedures by the accreditation body TuV THURINGEN Germany and its International Accreditation Forum, who have certified Kingdom Asphalt with the ISO 9001:2000.
